For this Creation, you’ll select a Wikipedia page or page section to edit (or you can create a new page). You may choose any topic. No matter what you do, be sure to provide citations to support your writing.
When you make your edits, focus on one or more of these:
- Perform research and add citations to increase the quality of the article
- Make revisions that address the conceptual structure of the article
- Make edits that balance overt or implicit bias (think especially in terms of information/language that is sexist, heterosexist, racist, classist, ageist, etc.)
- Create a new page or page section for underrepresented people or groups
After you make your edits, write a reflection on the blog about the choices you made. Be sure to include a link to your Wikipedia page. Complete this creation for class on 4/16.
