I interviewed Xavier, which was from Tarrant High School in the east side of the Birmingham area. It was a public city school system and it is in an urban environment. He mentioned that his graduation class was around about 175 students. He was a first-generation college student and he came to school based off his mother’s influence to get a college education so he can be successful in life. He graduated from high school in 2013 and he came to the University of Montevallo for his first semester in fall of 2013 and he currently stays in Napier Hall. He does participate in college night and he is a purple side fan.

During college night he participates by going to watch the purple and gold’s men’s and women’s basketball games and sometimes he will go to the college night shows at Palmer Hall. His favorite place to celebrate his parties and college night parties is at the Main Street Tavern. He first came to University of Montevallo as a music major and he just changed his major in the spring semester of 2018 to theatre. His favorite restaurant in the city of Montevallo is Huddle House and Taco Bell because he feels safe and comfortable, plus that’s were all his friends love to go hangout and socialize.
