Description
As the port of Tampa was starting to attract more traffic from the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico, the Town Council of Tampa began to worry about the potential spread of disease that this new influx of peoples and commodities might bring. This law states that all peoples and goods coming from any port in the "West Indies, Central America, South America, Mexico or any other port foreign or domestic."
