Description
“Messrs. J.B. Wall and S. M. Sparkman, representing the Electric Sight Co. submitted a proposition that the section of the Memorandum of Agreement exempting the it from liability for the interest on bonds to be issued by the Company for failure to furnish lights be abrogated and annulled, and that in lieu there of the said Electric Sight Co. give the City a bond in the sum of $10,000 to indemnify it against any loss. After discussion the matter was on motion referred to a special committee of three with instructions to report at the next regular meeting. The chair appointed as such committee Councilmen Briglaw, Honaker and Knight, after which the council was adjourned.”
