Q: Why is the dairy no longer running?
A: -Between 1957-1958, the dairy ended up going over its budget of $23,000. To meet the demands of the dairy's expenses, the budget for the dairy between 1958-1959 was increased to $26,700
-The dairy was created to save the college expenses and now became the source of expenses
-As TB became a growing heath concern, the dairy had annual reports on the status of the cow's health. They had to test for TB, which was very costly. Two tests per cow, twice a year, added up quite a lot.
