During my second interview process I interviewed Jeremy which has been a close friend at the University of Montevallo for two years. He started at Pinson Valley Highschool which was in Jefferson County public and rural area. He left there after the end of his tenth-grade year and then he attended Macadory High School. This school was public and rural in Jefferson County with an average class size of two-hundred students. He first went to Lawson State Community College in Birmingham to study music and he stayed in their only dorm that they had on campus which was a co-ed dorm. He started there in the fall semester of 2014 and said he loved it over there because it was a friendly environment for him. He then decided after a complete year of classes, he decided to transfer to the University of Montevallo to study for sociology. He is now a senior who is currently graduating this spring 2018 semester.
He currently stays in the Peck Hall dorms on campus and makes his way to class by driving to his classes since there at Umom. He currently has an Academic Scholarship and student loans that he uses to come to college. He said he doesn’t love the dorms, but he is now making use of his room that he shares to himself right now, but he plans on getting an apartment after graduation in the city of Montevallo. He currently works part time for the Bib County Sheriff’s Department which he has been doing for two years. He says that he hates the café and that he hasn’t eaten there since his freshman year. He also thinks Moe’s is the most expensive place on campus to eat at. His favorite restaurant inside the city of Montevallo is Taco Bell because it gives him safety, social contact, comfortable environment, good food, and great service when he pulls up to the drive through and makes his order. Lastly, his favorite hangout spot was the Eclipse Coffee and Books to hangout and socialize until they recently closed it down.
