Description
(transcription) “Mr. W.N Conoley, representing the Electric Sight Co., addressed the council on the subject of adopting the electric system of lighting the City. He proposed to furnish either arc or incandescent lights. He thought twelve or fourteen arc lights would furnish sufficient light, which he proposed to furnish at 60 (cents) each per night, provided the City would enter into a contract with his company for ten years."
