Description
College Night is the Homecoming tradition of the University of Montevallo. It began in 1919 as a competition between the classes. It evolved into two sides represented by the school colors, purple and gold. In the early years of the competition each side would put together a stunt which was a short comedy, a dramatization, a slow song, and a pep song.
Each year, the Purple and Gold sides write a slow song and a pep song. The slow song is performed for the alumni before the start of each production.
