Description
King House was originally built in 1823 by Edmund King and was later sold to the University in 1908. This photo of students in front of the King House in 1905 demonstrates that although the university did not actually own the King House yet university students spent time near it. It the early 1900s rumors developed that the ghost of Edmund King still roamed the house. Several accounts dating back to the early 1900s suggest that eerie unexplained things occurred in that house such as the sounds of someone moving around in an empty room or the counting of change when no one was there.
