Description
Portrait of Edmund King, the man who had King House built. Edmund King moved from Virigina and settled down in Montevallo in 1823. The original portrait still resides in King House where it continues to hang. Edmund King is the center of some supernatural speculation concerning King House. There are many rumors and early accounts that suggest his spirit still haunts the very mansion he built, bound to this Earth realm by the very wealth he used to build his home.
